Schools and Education.

 Save Ugandans Organisation (SUO) highly values education for all our children(orphans) we continue to devise and implement ways to improve the learning process. Last year, we managed to get some 8 pairs of shoes for our orphans and second hand clothes. Last year still all the 27 orphans were  promoted to other classes because they managed to pass their end of year examinations.

Vocational Training

Last year we managed to get one candle moulding machine. This machine can produce 36 candles per round so this makes it possible to produce about 4 rounds a day.

Still, we managed to acquire one set of a computer which is being used by 15 girls now to learn.

Community Services

Last year, we managed to produce a film based of HIV /AIDS with support from MCC Investments International

so that it can help us in spreading the gospel about HIV/AIDS within our community since AIDS is on the increase especially among the youths in the age bracket of 15 and 25 yrs. Thank u very much MCC.

We carried out a blood donation project and about 200 people turned up at our offices to donate blood to the Uganda Blood Transfusion services and this blood was taken to our regional refferral hospital and we believe many aneamic children have benefited from this blood.

we also carried out  HIV/AIDS sensitization program , testing and counseling, and we talked to very many people with our catchment area and out of the 198 people who turned up for HIV testing, we got 11 people who were HIV +  and we referred them to Uganda cares to start medication.
